I use to wokout 4-5 days a week before my accident two years ago. Because of the lower back pain I stopped going to the gym all togeather and have gained 40 lbs. I have had two surgeries and at least 15 visits to the physical therapist, with a little relief. Product does what it claims, but new users need to take it slow as instructed in the manual. Going to fast can cause some undue pain so read the manual and watch the video. had it about a month and feeling better, helped my back and also stopped leg cramps. After a couple of days using this product you can feel your back getting looser and normal mornings stiffness is now gone. I wasn't too sure about this unit as I had used one of the old type with the boots and I never felt comfortable hanging upside down without thinking I was going to fall out and land on my head! This unit their are no boots so you feel locked in and secure and it is easier to bring yourself back upright with the type of handles they have. I am very pleased with the unit and I am not pleased easily! Especially since I don't even do carnival rides because of the upside down thing!!

So far this product has been worth every pennie. We havent had it long so we are still waiting to see the results but it seems to do what it is intended. The product is well made and easy to put together. It's comfortable and quit. My wife has lower back problems and so far when she uses it her back feels much better. Very useful product: more flexibility, less neck, back and shoulder pain, sleeping better at night, better overall posture. A great stress reducer. Easy to use. Easy to adjust (3 other family members also use it). Very happy I purchased the EP950 because it is no hassle to use at all because of the extra features. Definitely worth every penny.

Drawbacks: Assembly was a major hassle. The instruction manual was woefully inadequate, and the supplemenatary DVD was also unhelpful as it was another Teeter model that was being assembled. The camera angle was terrible and clips had to be viewed and reviewed to assemble the EP950. Assembly took nearly 2 hours and not "under 20 minutes" as the DVD optimistically predicted and this is with two adults working on it who are innately mechanically inclined! Teeter would be doing all EP950 purchasers a big favor by making a better DVD, with better camera angles, featuring the assembly of the EP950, and not some other model.

Assembly instuctions were not the best, but I figured it out O.K. An improvement would be either more detailed pictures of the bolting hardware or providing labeling for each bolt so that they can be more easily identified. Also, none of the washers were shown or discussed in the instructions. It's unclear if they go on the bolt head side or the nut side. Lastly, the rubber spacers (4) came in their holes but two had fallen out and I had a heck of a time finding them in all the clutter of packaging material. It would be best if they were simply shipped with the hardware.

I used my sister's Teeter 550 & liked it but decided to purchase the 950 and pay a bit more. I am glad I did. Both the 550 and the 950 are very well made and I have a real feeling of security on both of them. A friend of mine has a more delicate table from a now defunct company and it is just too flimsy. These Teeter tables are anything but flimsy.Teeter touts that these are easy to store. They are BIG. Yes, the A frame folds down so that it no longer takes up the whole room but it is still a very bulky item for those of us with small rooms/closets.For about a [$] more, the 950 has a lever and ratchet system that I really like. First, you do not have to bend over so far to secure your feet with the lever. Second, for us older folks or weaklings, the lever is not so hard on the hand/wrist as the pull out pin of the 550.With the 950 they included free EZ stretch traction handles and I love them. They make it easier to move from the "locking position" of full inversion and allow you to do the rocking motion exercise without moving your arms up and down.Putting the table together was a challenge but I was helped by a call to my sister who, when I asked how long it took to put her table together, asked "you mean how long did it take to get out of the box?" The written instructions are pretty good but the video was vital especially to put the traction handles on. I suggest watching the entire video first to just become familiar with the set up then open the box. Be very attentive to the steps to get it out of the box. Be sure to clear the room so that if pieces roll out of the box (they did), they will not be hiding under the bed, dresser or other furniture. Get a bowl or other container to put the loose pieces in and then carefully follow the instructions to remove the pieces. After you get the table piece out (as opposed to the A frame) you should be fine. Since there are several bolds/nuts, I found removing the cardboard and plastic protections and checking off each item before trying to assemble was helpful. (The instruction manual has a page listing all the parts with a pretty lousy diagram.)The safety warnings are very good and repeated time and time again. I know this sounds impossible, but I actually know a person who forgot to secure the feet and was dumped on her head....3 years to recover!Have fun and good health!

The product is very easy to use. I have had other brand inversion tables and by far this one is better. If you have one and the hang up does not go up and down just by moving your arms then you should add an inch on the length and try it again. I was amazed at how balanced the machine is. The only thing I don't like about this model is when you do store it you are suppose to be able to lower the heighth all the way down and flip it over and it stay there, well with this model I can't get it to stay. You do always have the option of taking the back off the support frame and storing it that way.

At 60 decades both of us are feeling back and leg pain after modest work around the house. After a week of using the table 3 or 4 times a day for about 5 minutes we are feeling relief. Upon recieving this product and using it, I enjoyed immediate relief from my lower back pain and sciatic nerve problems. Very sturdy construction. I weigh 230 lbs and the table doesn't even creak when in use. I get as good a stretch in ten minutes on it for my lower lumbar as I do for a full Chiropractic visit. I received my teeter a couple of weeks ago and am very happy. Packaging, quality, and its easy assembly were obvious upon opening. Everything was well organized and labeled. Portions of the teeter were already put together as well. Operation is smooth and easy as well as getting in and out of it. Having had Fibromyalgia for a couple of years now I was desperate to find anything that might help with the constant aches and pains that goes with it. This is a quality piece of machinery and works great. I was 330 lbs when I ordered and the max weight for it is 300. I was worried about that but I've used it for about a month-and-a-half now and it's holding up fine. I haven't gone fully vertical yet...I only invert to about 45 degrees, but that's perfect for stretching and partially-decompressing. I'm down 25 lbs already, mostly thanks to diet and exercise, but some credit goes to this machine for allowing me to stay loose and get a good core-workout. I'll never live without an inversion table ever again.

I broke my foot and threw out my back 6 weeks ago. I ordered the inversion table to help with my back and am very glad that I did. I'm not a candidate for surgery for my low back problems but my chiropractor and I agreed the inversion table could really help my particular back issue. The inversion table relieves the pressure, relaxes me and is very comfortable to use. I was slightly concerned about using the table with my broken foot so I waited a few weeks to use. I have degenerative discs in my lower back which are grinding, using this 2-3 times a day if time permits gives me great relief. I like the new 950 I just bought, but it was harder to asseble than the CD instructions say it is, but not by that much. It took me an hour and a half, not 20 minutes. I find it difficult to adjust the height after my 6' husband uses it and I have to lower the height to 5'3". The unit slides across the wood floor when attempting to adjust the height. Also, it is cumbersome to move and store. However, the usage is worth it. My back really feels better after just 2 to 5 minutes on the 950. My husband is really happy with the way it helps him stretch after a strenuous work out. It helps relieve his neck and shoulder pain. Overall we are very happy with the product.

I bought this product to help reduce my lower back pain. After 3 years of nothing the Dr.'s could do, I came across and article about the teeter inversion table and figured I'd try it. It came sooner than expected which was a plus, and was easier to put together than I thought. It helps my lower back pain and helps stretch my abs making my tummy flatter. I also find just hanging upside down is quit relaxing.........

The equipment came in many units and had to be assembled . I think the parts could have been labeled better to simplify assembly but overall it was fairly straightforward.Once assembled the equipment is a pleasure to use and gives me great back relaxation and comfort.

I never had a back problem, but herniated a disc working out. I had leg numbness, severe pain and tried everything...ice, PT, steriods, injections, nothing seemed to help. I bought the EP950 table as a last resort. I've only used it a few days and it seems to be helping already. It's not a miracle and will take time, but it's definitely helped alleviate the pain.

The product is professional quality, easy to put together and a no-brainer to use, just go slow and ease into it. The ankle locking device did not require bending. The only thing I found difficult to do with an injured back, is it's hard to adjust the height setting.

I believe if I had used this table and stretched properly on a regular basis, I wouldn't have had my injury. Be smarter than I was...prevention is the best cure!

I was diagnosed with sciatica, spinal stenosis, herniated disks, degenerative arthritis, bone spurs, and one hip is much lower than the other from curved spine. The nerve and back pain has been unbearable at times. After going to a chiropractor 3xs/wk for 3 months without noticeable improvement, I decided to try an inversion table. I've only had my Teeter Hang Ups for a few days and used it for about 10 minutes each day. I LOVE IT!! I feel so much better today than I did three days ago. My back has been a little sore, but I attribute that to the new exercise and how little I was stretching my spine before. I only use it at 20% inversion now, but I'm working my way up to full inversion. Even at 20%, I feel so relaxed and stretched. I get so little time each day to myself, now I feel like I'm actually doing something FOR myself.

This is so much better than the table I had years ago it's amazing. It was easy to assemble, would have been easier had a watched the video FIRST. This is fast to get in and out of and comfortable on my ankles. I feel safely tucked in. Really worth the extra money over others. Because I exercise to little, I am taking it easy. I have 2 disks with no fluid. This does not hurt at all.

I was getting tired of 5 minute fixes from chiro's who really didn't seem to understand my problems. All I needed was decompression and exercise. I started at the 60 deg inversion for 5 minutes and felt a little dizzy the first time, but that passed soon after I got off. The next day I got on with my lower back pain and after 10 minutes of being inverted, my back pain was gone. I have three bulging discs in my neck with one hitting the nerve that goes down my arm. I was laid up on the couch for three weeks on Vicodin every four hours before I decided that action had to be taken instead of laying there until it healed itself. I started decompression sessions with a doctor I went to for a second opinion and bought an inversion table. I am now doing both to try to heal my discs. It is already working with just three sessions and one inversion session. This is much better and cheaper than surgery since I have heard that even surgery might not help. I will continue to use my table even after my decompression sessions are over to keep my back in shape. I also plan to use it for stretching later on and exercising.

This unit was easy to assemble, fits great in the corner of the BR and does what it claims to do. It is much easier to use than another mfg's inversion table that I owned for 15 years. I threw that one away when I cleaned out my garage a few months ago because it was too much of a hassle to get it out, assemble it, use it and then store it again. I am working my way back into shape again and am just really starting to use it regularly. So far so good, it has helped with the pinched nerve in my back and stretching the muscles that I can't stretch thru normal stretches. I have been able to play golf for most of the round with much less pain that if I didn't use the EP950. I have also noticed that my back is much looser and I am more flexible if I use the EP950... It is not a cure for back problems but as others have said, it is a good solution for temporary pain relief...
Currently I am over the weight limit recommended by the web site but have had no problems inverting myself and am always careful to have another person near by to help if there is trouble. (Currently 330 lbs. and loosing...)
