I broke my back or rather compressed three vertebrae in a two-story fall several years ago. I have had to take pain pills on a regular basis for the past 14 years. This machine didn't eliminate all the medication in only the two weeks I have owned it but it has greatly reduced the amount of medication I require. I hope it continues to assist in the reduction and hopefully does eventually eliminate of all the pain (and medication requirements) with continued use over the next several months. I'm realistic and know that success sometimes comes in small doses and, so far that train of thought has held true for me.

I purchased the inversion table because of back problems. I received it 3 days ago, assembled it in about 45 minutes and tried it out. It was pretty much what I expected, as I previously (20 years ago) owned an inversion table. As my back problem is of multiple herniations and bulges in the lumbar section I am approaching the use of the table slowly and cautiously so as not to aggravate the situation. Time will tell.

I put my unit together just after I got it, hopped on and inverted to 90 deg. After about 30seconds felt a hard "pop"in my back and the pain I suffered for more than 30 years was gone. I know my pros & cons contradict eachother, let me explain.
comfort: The machine is very comfortable, it is the ankle support that needs improvement. I wore my boots thinking that would help, but the only thing that helps is time (getting used to it). I hang at an angle, not upside down yet, this helps.
easy storage: I don't think the term easy storage can apply to any model of this machine. It is big and heavy. When I take it down, I put the base in the hallway closet and the part that you lay on behind the couch. It won't all fit behind the couch only because of the handles. I thought about taking them off, but they are nice to have.
easy to adjust: this is kind of upsetting, I will have to find a way to work around this. Between me, my husband and our children, we all have different settings. The way you set it is by a strap & strap lock. First of all, the strap lock does not work well, I have been hanging and then the strap slips and I am upside down. So I have to double loop the strap through the strap lock. This makes adjusting more difficult.
noise: It is quiet if you are just laying there, but if you want to do some stretching or moving while laying on it, the fabric that the back is made out of makes noise when rubbing against the frame. After everyone goes to bed at night, I sometimes use it, but feel bad because I know the noise is heard even in the bedrooms.
Overall, good purchase, I am glad I bought this product.

I'm a 59yo contractor and I've beat myself up over the years with my job. I've had it and used it daily for over a week now. My back is much better for it. I use it 2 sometimes 3 times a day. I was surprised to find my knees feel better now too. It set up easily, but the use instructions were a little sparse. They at least tell you to take your time and ease into it slowly. My only problem with it is that it hurts my ankles after about 5min inverted. Don't know if it's the machine or my ankles. Maybe I'll just stop at 5min, and add another session or 2.

the roll around hand bars made this my choice so as to add more control to my workout, if i want to stop myself and slowly adjust, i can or if i want to pull myself to a mid way level the hand bars are located right where you need them.The bad thing is they dont allow the unit to fold flat. I purchased this unit because it got good reviews and did not want to pay $300.00 for an inversion table. It took literally 30-40 minutes to assemble. Only because the manual did not provide great illustrations. Once I figured it out it was not difficult at all. I have never used an inversion table before so I have nothing to compare it to. But the first night I used it I felt like I had gone to the chiropractor. You can literally feel the stess evaporate from your spine. The good: cheap price for an overall excellent design with few limitations. Easy assembly. [...] The less than stellar: During assembly, plan on using your own tools, as the included stamped steel wrenches will double the assembly time. The deck padding is minimal and might be uncomfortable for some users as the lower brace bar is pretty ouchy. Straight-forward assembly if you take it one page at a time...several key assembly steps were already completed when I unpacked it...recommend using your own ratchet or wrenches as the cheapo included tools are knuckle busters...honestly, this sucker is a killer bargain for the money...padding on the reclining bed is marginal and not really comfortable for extended use without some user modifications...overall a really excellent device for the small amount of moola...highly recommended and very pleasantly surprised.

So far i am enjoying my table very much. I have already noticed a difference in my lower back.
I suffered a slipped disk about 15 years ago. I take relatively good care of my back but still experience pain if standing or walking for more than 30 minutes. Already using the table daily i have noticed I am able to walk longer than usual without pain.
I have seen some bad reviews of these tables, just bear in mind they are not going to help with ALL types of back problems, but for me it is helping.
Its easy to set up and use. Feels stable and secure. I weigh 210 and have no problems using it.
It can be a little uncomfortable on your ankles.
It does fold up, but still takes up enough space that it is difficult for me to find a place to store it.

I bought this unit for my wife due to her chronic back problems. To my suprise it shipped very quickly and I had it within a few days. I found many of the parts were already assembled and I only had to finish putting it together. All told, it only took me around 15 to 20 minutes to assemble it. If you have an iota of mechanical ability, you won't have a problem putting it together. I will recommend if you have your own tools, use them. As with the majority of products requiring assembly, the tools included with the unit are not very good. My wife began using it immediately and in a short time, has noticed a significant difference in how her back feels. The unit is well built, sturdy and the adjustments are easy to use. I'm 6'1" and weigh 260lbs. The machine handles a person my size without any problems. Overall, I would recommend this unit to anyone and am pleased with it.

Seems to be stury construction, solid. The assembly was not trivial; some of the instructions and illustrations were difficult to follow, and possibly applied to an earlier model; but after some trial and error, fiddling around with this and that screw, and trying to figure out where that leftover screw went, I managed a successful assembly. I have back problems and purchased table for the therapeutic value. After one month of daily use I'm not sure if I've seen any improvement but I'm still using regularly. Perhaps I need to be patient. Anyhow the product is solidly made and went together without problem. A few details were a little shabby, but nothing really important. Basically a solid product that should last a long time.

I use the inversion table to stretch out my back muscles after a workout with weights. The inversion table does everything it was advertised to do, and for the price, it is a very good buy. The only down side is the ankle supports become uncomfortable after 3-4 minutes in an inverted position. I'm working on trying to find the right combination of socks and shoes to help in this area.

I really like the idea of inversion and the table is great. My only complaint is: It is very painful across the top of my foot when I hang. I'm still trying different shoes and paddings but, the longest I've been able to hang is less than 4 min.

I've had re-ocurring lower back problems and now have degenerative disc disease. The last time I went to physical therapy one of the treatments was traction, so I got this to continue the treatment after I was finished with the therapy visits. I was very pleased with the easy set-up and the surprisingly sturdy construction for such a great price. Certainly glad I didn't go for those priced 3 times as much!! After I use it I can fold it up and have it stored behind the door in 30 seconds. Just what I was looking for!!!

I use the product to relive low back pain. I have had back surgery and the pain was worse than before the surgery. By using the table 3 times a day as directed, I haven't had to take any pain pills nor used any pain strips. The pain is almost gone and I feel better than I have in years.
The problem that I had after receiving the product was, that the arch brace would not slide into the main frame. I had to file it down in order to get it in 2 notches. The arch brace would go no further in.
The overall product is still very satisfactory.

I was apprehensive when I ordered a piece of exercise equipment online - I am not the best at reading directions, have back pain, and expected a jumbled mess to arrive that lacked the necessary parts to completely assemble.

WRONG on ALL COUNTS! The box arrive, it was fairly large and required two people to get it in the house. When I opened the box, I was ecstatic. The larger parts (the bed, the stand) were already assembled. I just needed to attached the foot part to the adjustable bar, the bed to the base, and the adjustable bar to the bed. Simple! I opened the kit containing the parts, and everything was there - including the tools to complete the job. Unreal! Even with back pain, I was able to assemble the equipment all by myself, and the cleanup was a breeze (not much styrofoam).

The table itself is comfortable, VERY sturdy, solid and smooth. I have not once felt worried that it will slip out of place or move. The ankle holders are a little uncomfortable, but since you're relying on your ankles to hold all of your weight while inverting, I imagine most tables would be this way.

All in all, this was the best purchase I've made online. I'm already feeling the positive results from using the table after four days. I encourage anyone looking for back pain relief to try it, and this model is ideal for small living spaces. It's a nice addition to the decor, and stores away easily.

I have severe disc damage in my back and this table really does help alleviate pain. I was impressed with the price of the table. Very easy to assemble and to use. It also stores nicely and is easy to adjust. I had read some reviews about the table being uncomfortable, however I don't agree. For the money, the table is great. I had a bulging disk that was more painful than anything I'd ever felt. I went to my MD, and my Chiropractor multiple times. Chiropractor suggested an inversion table. It seems to be working miracles. I have been in pain with my back for over a year seeing a chiropractor sometimes every other day and I don't want to jinx myself but, I think this my be the thing I've needed. We had a couple broken pieces in the box. Neither were important - just the black pieces that fit on the ends, but looks kinda cheap as a result. Other than that, we are very satisfied. One thing that would be nice is a case to store in.

This is my second inversion table, I still have the other one at another location. I use this for my daily streching. The table is easy to set up, however, if you have it, use your own tools. What is supplied is not great. The back board is quite noisy when you lean on it due to the strech of the fabric. The ankle lock is quite cumbersome as the spring does not pull it is all the way, needs to little extra push for securing it. If you are looking for an inexpensive table that is made in China, this is it. However, the other tables listed on this website with couple of exceptions are probably made in China too. So, go figure.

This Product is great, it is helping with my lower back pain.
The only negative statement I could give it is that the lower back pad rest right on the L5-sacrum area and the pad is a very stiff foam rubber. It needs to be made of a softer material.
If used in the fully inverted position the pad is not a factor.
Assembling is easy, but use your own tools. Tools that are supplied may make for an awkward assembly.

Has seemed to help my husband's severe lower back pain with only a few times at about 45* angle. When mine is hurting, I can get on it a few minutes and the pain is gone. Not that hard to put together, but the little tools included are a little rinky dink, and it is easier with a real wrench and pliers. It's plenty sturdy, and my husband weighs about 250 pounds. The main reason i bought this table was it is able to handle 300 lbs. My dad was the main reason i bought it. Even though it weighs more then the others it is sturdy and you dont feel like it is going to break. I took off the back ankle supports that came with the unit and put on foam rollers off of my bowflex and that made a huge difference let me tell you.

I wore a nice pair of tennis shoes and it really hurts your feet. It was hard to put together, but I don't put the blame on the company. No phone number that I can contact. I used to have another one that was more comfortable. Also, the foot holder is not sturdy, you feel like you can fall off and hit year head and kill yourself.

The Product concept is great, the craftsmenship is fair, had a few items missing (nuts)with several scratches and sharp edges on it.

63-year-old female, used "Gravity Swing" regularly from 1990-2005. Left behind when moved to Florida. Bought this inversion table, found it easy to assemble and very sturdy. However lower bedframe bushings arrived broken and had we had to call for replacement. Also the bar under the nylon bed which is covered with a foam pad presses harshly on tail bone area causing pain. Very poor design component. Looks like they added the foam as a quick fix, but that only adds more bulk to the protrusion. Any ideas on how to correct this? I had recommended this to several friends before we got it, but now I must tell them about this problem.

This product was the exact same as another with an brand name on it, and neither were made in America (somemthing I preferred, but could not afford at this juncture in life).

All the parts were there, but it has terrible instructions, didn't make it impossible, but it wasn't all that fun to put together.

So far the only issue I've had with it is that the strap that hold for your level of inversion is not strong enough to hold my position unless I re-loop it around the end and back through the holding piece ( kinda like a backpack strap that you just re-loop the end back through so that it goes up instead of hanging down).

Otherwise it hold my body ( 240lbs 6ft ) just fine and doesn't make me feel uneasy in any way.

I suggest this to anyone who is looking at getting an inversion table and doesn't have a lot of money.

Ankle holders seem fine to me, but I suggest a pair of thick socks when you start just so that you can get used to it.

Unit is sturdy, easy to assemble, and easy to use. The only drawback I found is the stop strap. When inverting the table, the strap will slide and let the table invert further than you would like. This can be solved by looping the strap thru the buckle and over itself. Would recommend to anyone who wants an inversion table for home use.

At 65 and a widow I even found this very easy to put together. This product was a life changing moment for me. I no longer wake up taking pain pills to get out of bed, just go down stairs and get on my inversion table for a few minutes every morning (i am 5ft 5 inches).
