Comments about Ironman Ironman LifeStyle Inversion Table:

Found the instructions to put this together sufficient although they could have been a little more clear. Tools that were provided were again sufficient but found that my own made the job go easier. I think I was expecting a miracle for my back pain and although that did not happen, there has been some relief - I will continue to use this, though. Also, I have found that although I can use this w/o shoes and socks it is uncomfortable and I really can't relax like I can when I am wearing shoes/socks.

Comments about Ironman Ironman LifeStyle Inversion Table:

This is a good product. In hind site I wish I had purchased the Ironman inversion table that allows for abdominal muscle exercise, it would be more useful. Ironman makes good, durable stuff, I would recommend this from a durability standpoint, but now that it's assembled, i can't exactly send it back, I wish I had spent a little more money and bought the table that allows for abdominal exercise.

I wanted to use it right away and my husband was busy, so I started putting it together my self (so easy). I assembled it totally myself, The only part that was somewhat wierd was adjusting it to my height. I got on it and it flung me back fast. So once we got that adjusted it was great. Just make sure it is balanced for your height, so it will fall back gently.

I suffer from ruptured disks at L4-L5 and L5-S1. These cause my back to "go out" about 3 times a year. When it's inflammed, the only thing that works for me is traction therapy, so I'm hoping this product works for me. I've been using it now for a few weeks, and can really feel a difference in my back strength.

Comments about Ironman Ironman LifeStyle Inversion Table:

I got the inversion table because of lower back pain, and it handles that beautifully; I got relief the first time I used it. I also found it relaxing to be inverted, and I will try some exercises eventually (I have only had it set up for two days). Just be careful going back, it can swing back very quickly! The table does everything described, and also it goes all the way back (inverted), which the advertisement is not at all clear about (I almost sent it back without assembling, because the instructions seemed to indicate that it only went back to about 120 degrees, but it does go the full 180 degrees that I desired). The device itself is fantastic; very sturdy and useable. It folds up to a size that fits my storage needs if I use a bungy cord to secure the boom to the base. I don't take the bed out of the base, I just fold the whole thing up and attach the bungy cord and I'm done. It works great.

Comments about Ironman Ironman LifeStyle Inversion Table:

My 6'4", twenty-four year old son has scoliosis and frequent back pain. I'm a fifty-something, slightly overweight bus driver and also have back pain. We have both found relief from the table after the first use, and I'm hoping my son's scoliosis will even have some correction with regular use.
I warned him that some reviews said assembly was difficult and he said "yeah,if you're a moron". We set it up in 15 minutes, and I wasn't much help. I could have assembled this myself. No, the diagrams aren't clear, but it can be assembled from the picture.

My input is that the spring loaded pin at the ankle pad adjustment , needs to be longer for us heavy/ older people. Love the product just my two cents , you ask!

Comments about Ironman Ironman LifeStyle Inversion Table:

I researched I-tables and am so glad I ended on this one. There are 2 things that you really need to be concerned about when looking into getting a table. 1. the ankle constraints. This one has the best and most comfortable constraints. Far superior to the "bar" type. 2. The handles!! SOmetimes you need the extra long handles to help bring yourself back up and this one has them.
This table is STURDY and comfortable. I supposed the only drawback is that it does not fold up, but for me that is not an issue.

Comments about Ironman Ironman LifeStyle Inversion Table:

This table is better constructed than a number I've seen at significantly higher prices. Don't know why I waited so long. It was easy to assemble. The instructions were clear and easy to follow.
After a long day of intense computer programming this table is a joy to come home to. And the physical labor involved with my horse farm makes it's even better. Even 5 minutes of use before bed makes my back so much more comfortable. It would be nice if could be stored in a smaller space (my bedroom is quite small), but considering the physics of the tool and the construction it compacts for storage quite adequately. Overall I'm extremely pleased with this table.

I researched many tables and for the price this is the best table. It is incredibly well built and very sturdy. You feel very safe on the unit. It is also very comfortable. The leg holders are the best without a doubt. Also, something that makes this better than others is the handles. You really need the longer handles to assist with uprighting yourself. I dont know how you would get up with those tables that just have straight handles. Perfect table!!!!

Comments about Ironman Ironman LifeStyle Inversion Table:

I was pleasantly surprised to see how quickly my lower back pain went away. I haven't been able to use the machine as long or as often as suggested and I can only imagine it will work better once I've increased my usage.

I have notice much quicker recovery from back stains, usually one to two days instead of weeks. There is a little bit of getting used to though. I come back up slowly so as not to get nautious. It feels a little like going on a roller coaster ther first few times.

All in all I am very satified. Glad I didn't spend two or three times the cost for other models. I have already suggested this to others. If you've been on the fence, this is the model for you. Just plan on leaving it set up in the room though. You'll be more likely to use it!!

Comments about Ironman Ironman LifeStyle Inversion Table:

The table arrived quickly, was easy to put together, seems like good quality, and it helped my back out enormously. The first few days it felt great; now, a couple weeks later, after using twice a day for 5-10 minutes, it isn't AS pain free as before, but I expect it will get better. It is definitely doing SOMETHING, which is more than anything else I tried. As soon as I get on it and flip, I can feel my vertebrae snapping and stretching, which seems like a good thing, countering gravity and age!! Chirpractors call it "traction" or "decompression" and it is a lot cheaper than going for a $45 visit 3x/week to have this done. I have had lower back pain for 4 years which came on suddenly. I am 50. I went to numerous doctors, chiropractors, naturopaths. I have tried magnet therapy, supplements, accupressure, in short, everything I could think of. I was so frustrated, as I have always been in very good health, take no drugs (not even painkillers) but do a lot of heavy lifting and probably abused my back over the years.
I can't compare this table to the more expensive ones, as I have never seen one, but it seems good. The only complaint I have is the ankle clamps were not comfortable until I came up with a modification. I have to wear high top, non padded shoes (like converse sneakers) and then I velcro my feet to the bar you stand on so I don't slide down too far and pinch my feet against the clamps. Now it is fine. But don't try to use it without sturdy shoes, it kills your feet. And with padded shoes, you can't get the clamps tight enough to hold you. The engineers should have come up with a better system to secure your feet from slipping. I should add, I use it practically vertical, (maybe I don't need to?) and that puts a lot more pressure on your feet. Other than that, I have no problem and would recommend the product.

I ordered this thing for my lower back Vertebre slippage and disk herniation. I have noticed over the last week and a half or so of using it (haven't done EXACTLY 2 times at a full 10 mins a day...but at least twice at around 3-5 mins)that it has helped the pain associated with the pressure of day to day activities. I believe that over time, this will ultimately help me reduce my pain med intake! The machine was [$] more than the original one I was going to try and I'm glad I got this one.I'm happy with this buy!

For some years, especially after turning 50, I've experienced upper back pain. The doctors say that it is normal with old age as the disks wear and are pressing. My back problems include arthritis, damaged discs and spinal stenosis. Before using the product I was taking 2400 to 4000 milligrams a day of ibuprofen. This has been one of the best purchases I've ever made.

Comments about Ironman Ironman LifeStyle Inversion Table:

After two years overseas, and a lot of time wearing my 'full battle rattle', my lower right back between my hip and back have been sore for quite sometime. After spending lots of time trying to 'pop' my back with no improvement, I did some thinking and some research. If only I could hang upside-down while popping my back.

It does the job and helps my back, my Sacro-Iliac joint, and my iliopsoas muscle. The problem is the padding in the ankle holds. Well, it's not actually the padding, it's that clasps are too narrow. If the ankle holds were longer (as in farther up the shin and calf), and supported the entire lower extremity, the weight-to-pressure ratio on the ankles would be bearable and possibly comfortable. Meanwhile, I'm using the inner liner to my snowboard boots as 'booties" to increase the comfort. It works though.

Comments about Ironman Ironman LifeStyle Inversion Table:

Relieves tension up & down my back, even in my neck. No more lower back pain & the tension between my shoulders has pretty much disappeared.
Sit ups are easier on the neck & shoulders hanging upside down. Very sturdy & well built, especially for the price.
Ankle supports could be a bit more comfortable.
Adjustments per user are pretty simple and we really like how the hand rails are not just on top. One of our users is heavy and has weak ankles so he adjusted the ankle supports to the top of his feet and it seems comfortable enough for him to use now.
