Good table:
I can't see why one would spend more money for deluxe padding since you only spend a few minutes per day on the table. It's great for stretching and alleviate back problems. This padding is comfortable enough for the duration of the invertion. I feel secure and safe on the table that has a good stability. Actually be careful not to fall asleep on in...it might be a good idea to never use it alone.
The only minor con: The adjustment strap used to set the angle could have been a little easier to adjust.
I would buy it again

The table is sturdy and very stable. I was able to set the table up by myself. The setup itself is not hard, but the pictures in the manual are small and it's difficult to distinguish the pieces. It took a while to adjust the height and make the other adjustments to the table so that it would rotate easily, but that was because I was by myself and had to get on and off the table numerous times. A 2nd person would make setup and adjustments faster, but is not a necessity.

I highly recommend this table. My spine feels so relaxed after using it, and I have not had a severe headache in DAYS. This is a wonderful way to give myself an "adjustment" between visits to the chiropractor.

Have had back problems for years. For years subscribed to pain management and regular stretching and exercise. Pain began increasing in last 6 months. Tried chiropractor, massage therapist, accupuncture, physical therapy and personal trainer. Pain would not subside. Purchased inversion table at the recommendation of my chiropractor and massage therapist. Was skeptical, but pain makes people desperate for any relief. Unbelievably, using it for a few minutes a few times a day in the first week has already brought relief from pain. Not a miracle cure (yet) but definitely can feel the difference. The only con I would mention is that it is not as comfortable around the feet/ankles as I would expect. Limits my time at 4-5 minutes a session which probably is a good time. I tried to put it together myself and got stuck when it came to the spring adjustment and strap. Good thing I had someone check out the attachments as some I had on backwards or loose bolts/nuts. We both used it, and couldn't believe

Assembles easily, adjusts for different users easily, and when I had to store it once it didn't take up much more room than my ironing board. I had no expectations when I purchased this - it was one more attempt to allieviate chronic back pain from injury and degenerative arthritis. Compared to what I have spent on doctors, physical therapy and pain relief the cost was negligible. The benefits for me have been way out of proportion to the cost!
The padded ankle bar is so comfortable that the only time I even noticed it was when I tried to use it after a mild ankle injury - but even that didn't stop me. Sometimes I use it just to stretch -I love the feeling. Sometimes I use it to do stomach crunches as part of a workout. When my back is acting up, or I have done a lot of weight bearing exercise like walking, hiking, skiing, I'll get on once or twice a day to reverse the disk pressure. I don't know why every back doctor doesn't have one of these for their patients to try. Before I bought mine I asked my doctors and therapists and though they had all heard of inversion tables, none had any opinion or information to offer.

I was recently diagnosed with spondylothesis (look it up) which was causing me some major sciatic pain. I have been using this inversion table for almost 2 weeks. I had an MRI and L4-L5/L5-S1 slight/minor herniations. I got a lot of relief from this device. I use when I wake up and before I go to bed; 15 min each time. I watch Fox news while I invert. Time goes fast/I get relief. I don't want to take narcotics to dull the pain, because you don't know when you're doing more damage. It was painful down my left leg, now that rarely happens. I still have some discomfort in my back, but it seems to be lessening somewhat. I'll keep doing the inversion. My Dr. did say keep doing it if I get relief. I have refused physical therapy because 2 previous uses of their services did more damage than good [not on my back --foot/hand] stay tuned.... :>

I am an Engineer and examined the build quality.I found it to be overbuilt (good) with quality welds.It is designed for human usage(human rated) with safety in mind. The design is strong and of sound architecture.It took less that five minutes to set up.Quality powder coat finish and other chrome parts.The tubing is HEAVY wall construction which surprised me and shows that they probably have a at least 1.5 safety factor built in. They also have notched gussets which strengthens and prevenis the possibiliy of cracking at critical weld areas.Unbelievable price. What can your buy for this price? 5 pizzas? I am very pleased. I have degenerating discs in my lower back and I received the Calm Inversion table this Christmas. So far it has been great. The only negatives I have with it are the ankle locking bar is uncomfortable if you're completely inverted and it takes a while to get it adjusted correctly to your height. I'm 5'8" and had to adjust it to 5'11" in order for it to work correctly. For the price it's a great deal!!

I had to add a piece of foam 16 inches by 40 inches and 1.5 inches thick to the nylon back support. The foam was easy to slip into the back support. After the foam was added to the back support, it was very comfortable and would reccomend this table to anyone . Great buy for the money. I sent my foam suggestion to the manufacturer. This inversion table is great. My neck and upper back would always hurt, but especially after a long day at work (I have a desk job sitting at a computer for a good part of the day). My neck would be so stiff that I couldn't even fully turn it to the right when backing up my car. After just a few tries, my neck and back feels sooooo much better. My range of motion is now 100% and my pain is non-existant most of the time. Even I put this together and used it within 30 minutes after receiving. My wife says the only tool I should use is a mobile phone to call someone to put together things like this; however, it was simple...even for me.
