Love this product. It is worth the price. Very sturdy, easy to assemble, simple operations and does it's job. The only problem is storage,not too bulky but doesn't fold. I kept it out as part of my family room furniture, black color goes with everything in there, so it's perfect and always ready when I want to relax. Had this thing assembled and finished my first 5 minute (as suggested) "workout" in under 2 hours. This table has NONE of the major drawbacks I saw in reviews of virtually every other table out there for under $400 -- ankles uncomfortable/hurt, metal bar in back uncomfortable, have to buy gravity boots to use it, doesn't feel sturdy, etc... Not this one!! ZERO complaints from me, and how they can beat out tables costing 2-3 times this price [...]??? While looking at inversion tables I tried some o the more expensive brands. This table does exactly what I need for a fraction of the price. The only drawback is the way it holds your feet. After inverting your body slides a bit until the ankle clamps get to your feet.

Great table overall. There is an issue with the difference between the level you start out at on the foot-rest and where you end up sliding to when inverted, because of the ankle bracket being several inches higher than it should be. This play makes it difficult to set the table to the right height adjustment, and makes you slide down (inverted) on the table, and makes it harder to regain your balance point when you come back up.

I use this to get my spine back in alignment. One leg is shorter than the other, and I prefer not to wear shoes, so by the end of the day, my lower back is complaining and feels stiff. I just hop on, flip my arms over my head, and voila, within minutes, I can feel the spine lengthen. When I get off, I find it nearly impossible to slouch (my normal posture!). It literally takes hours for me to do anything other than walk correctly! It is so comfortable (after getting used to it) that - no kidding - I tend to fall asleep upside down! It's almost too relaxing!
The only real complaint that I have is that while the length and footbar are easy to adjust to multiple users, the strap that controls the incline is a pain. Its a matter of trial and error - lengthening and shortening until you get the angle that you want. Add another user, and it becomes annoying because each person has their own preference.
It also takes up more room than I was expecting, but I wouldn't call that a fault, just FYI. I leave it up, because I use it daily, and don't feel like folding it up, carting it to a closet, then reversing the process several times a day. If you're like me, pay attention to the amount of space it needs.
I have recommended this to many people - super deal for the price. It's very sturdy and well made.

Good basic table. Instructions say your weight distribution on the table should allow you to teeter back and forth simply by moving your arms up and down. I was able to accomplish the teeter effect until inversion. When inverted on this table the ankle supports allow you to slide off the foot rest which changes your weight distribution and the teeter is then lost. It takes more effort to re-position back to upright. It appears the ankle supports work as designed and do keep you from sliding off the table when inverted. Overall it's a good table for the price.

I'm a 40yr old single mom and put this together myself with very little trouble. Make sure you have your own tools, as the ones included don't work so well. The directions (with pictures) made it fairly easy to put together. It does the trick-although the part that holds the ankles could be more comfortable. If you have never inverted before it's an inexpensive way to see if it will help you before investing in something higher dollar.

I am 6'2" and this table works well for me. The biggest issue for me is that when I hang completly inverted for more than 6 or so minutes my ankles hurt. Other than that I really like the product especially since it inverts slightly past 90 degrees and I can work my abs.

I honestly feel this is an excellent unit for the price. Most others go for two or three times the price of this one.

Well built, easy to set up and adjust, and works very well. I weigh approx. 200 lbs and it feels very stable and safe to me.

I use it primarily for relief from lower back pain. It is probably not the right table for those who want to use it for exercising, as it does not have some of the features the pricier tables have.

Ten months ago I was suffering from lower back problems where sitting or standing for 20+ minutes caused considerable pain. Going to the gym was out of the question after doing so for most of my adult life. I didn't know the cause of my pain, the chiropractor helped a little, but not enough to get back to the gym. I suspected my back pain may be a result of damaged discs in my back, but couldn't afford the medical scan to confirm it so I bought this inversion table hoping it would help me, the cost was equal to just a few chiropractic visits so I felt I had little to lose. My first five minute session on this machine made a huge difference. In a week I was back at the gym and pain free. I now work out five days a week including cycling, body works and aqua classes along with weights and lap swimming. I am about to turn 44 and I am now in the condition I was in in my early 30's. Despite complete pain relief I still get on the machine twice a day for 5 minutes each time to maintain my now good back health. Initially I found the ankle restraints to be uncomfortable and hanging upside down strange with blood rushing to my head, but now I don't notice either issue and over all such discomfort could be expected because people are not made to hang upside down by their ankles. ;o) I highly recommend this machine, other people's reviews got me to buy it and it changed my life for the better and I hope it will do the same for you!

its very simple, straightforward once it is set up. no bells or whistles. the drawback is in the system that holds your feet and ankles. the tightest setting still permits you to slip an inch or two (you are safe!) which throws off the all important height adjustment. so this just means that it takes a little longer to get the right setting for you. I find it is about 4 inches taller than your actual height to compensate for the little bit that you slip once you are upside down

I am 67, and have severe stenoses of the spine. I use it at least once, and sometimes two or three times a day. So far, it has given me, at least temporary pain relief after exertion...golf, exercising, walking, etc. It seems well built and relatively comfortable, however,the padding for the top of the foot could be a little more comfortable.

I have had serious neck pain for 6 years due to spinal arthritis. I get headaches 90% of the time along with a ton of other symptoms. A friend suggested an inversion table to me so I looked them up and bought the Calm inversion table. I have a pinched nerve that was inflamed and causing pain down my leg. I have been using the bed for 2 days and can already tell a difference in the amount of pain I have. It was easy to put together and adjust to use. I even instructed my wife in the use of it. I have extremly happy with this purchase as it is all and more of what they advertised. As a side note I do have to agree with one of the other reviews that recommended wearing your tennis shoes while using the bed.. i have found this to be good advise.

Just got the table. Easy to put together. Nice smooth inversion. Definitely worth the money. Sturdy enough. I'm 6'3" and weigh 180lbs, with a mild case of degenerative disc disease. It's a very nice stretch, and relieves the stress in my lower back just fine. Exactly what I was looking for.

Ankles hurt just a bit when inverted, but heck, I'm hanging all my weight from them, I don't think that a more expensive table would do much better.

Easy 10 min setup. Can't get any better than this in the price range. The only thing is that it's slightly flimsy, but when your on it, it's not to bad. Ankle supports are ok, I wouldn't say that it kills my ankles but not that bad. Overall it's great! I'm glad that I didn't spend twice as much for the hangups.

I've had an inversion table (first generation) for about 30 years and it finally had to be replaced. Yours is more compact and more user-friendly than the first generation. I have used one to put my hip back in line, my back and neck back in line, and for general stretching.

I have even used it in lieu of a back operation and couldn't be happier, or in better shape than I am now.

Thank you for offering an excellent product at an good value. I've only had this one for a few weeks so I can't address any warrantee issues, but I don't expect there to be any either.

I use it for 10 min - about twice a day. I wear boots with fuzzy linings (like ugs) to pad my ankles. I see-saw, then hang upside until my ankles hurt too much, then see-saw some more and hang again etc...for 10-15 min. When I get off, I do childs pose for a minute. I think that helps ease you back to upright. I've only been using it for a couple of weeks but my back feels so much better.
Bad stuff - takes a lot of room - hurts your ankles.
Good stuff - helps your back feel better - doesn't take much time - it's good for your health.

I bought this because it is recommended to invert to relieve sciatica pain. I have been dealing with sciatica for two months now. So, I thought I would try inversion. When I invert for just 3 minutes I can tell the difference in how I feel. The one thing I noticed with this product is the pressure on the heels while inverting. I am an orthopedic surgeon and understand the goals of inversion therapy. I go back to 1971 so have had experience in treating back pain. We used to put people in the hospital in the "good ole days" and place them in pelvic traction with 8 inch shock blocks under the legs of the bed at the end. We applied a pelvic girdle with straps that extended out to the end of the bed, over pulleys and would apply 25 to 50 pounds of weight. Back pain usually lessened and the patient was discharged.
This inversion is a better "mousetrap" but it has one thing lacking. If the patient has arthritic foot, knee or hip pain then the inversion makes that worse and the whole experience is less effective.
Consider offering this inversion table with a pelvic girdle and straps to hook to the end for the counter traction as the body is inverted. Advise that to people who already have hip, knee or foot arthritis. It might seem complicated to people but they could get more help from inversion therapy if you get the legs out of the traction forces for that group of people. It would not be an expensive option.

I live in a wheelchair, so my back cannot get the range of motion most folks enjoy. The result is pain, lots of pain. Since assembling and first using the table, the benefit has been immediate and enduring. I honestly have no complaints. It is comfortable, easily adjusted to meet individual needs, and sturdy. The foot and ankle support system is a very good, and no where near as uncomfortable as you have to expect when hanging from your ankles. It's a perfect fit for me; I'm 5'9", 185#. I'm the last one to buy the least expensive product out there, as it's usually garbage, but the overwhelmingly positive reviews convinced me to try this one. The table was fairly easy to put together (couple hours). Recommendusing your own screwdriver and adjustable wrench.

It can be folded up and put away, but you have to remove the table part and then fold the frame. Takes a two to three minutes.

Does what an inversion table is supposed to do. A more expensive option might be easier to set up and put away or get in and out of the foot holds.

I THINK it is helping my lower back where I have had chronic pain for over a year. I am not feeling as many twinges. It could just be that I am feeling a placebo effect, but I also think that it will take time to really tell.

The greatest thing about this Inversion Table is that it works. I have had a sore back for years from working in construction. After trying various muscle relaxers and pain pills with limited results, I have finally found the relief that I have been looking for. I use my table almost every day for about 15 OR 20 minutes and now feel better than have for quite some time. Ste up and break down take less than five minutes and it stores easily in our small down stairs closet. Easy to assemble, a pleasure to use, and it works. What else could you ask for?

This table is quite large but does perform adequately in terms of allowing a full back stretch. The metal support underlying the canvas presses into my lower back in all but the full inversion positions. [...] If economics are your main priority then this table will perform adequately. However if you want a bit more comfort I would recommend the Teeter tables. I will be upgrading.

I have suffered from lower back problems for years..
Four years ago I tried surgery for a herniated disk.(L-5,S-1)..Although it really eased my pain and got me up and about,I still have constant stiffness and minor pain in my lower back..
I also would have pretty severe flare ups every other year or so...
I decided to try inversion after another flare up recently...
I am six feet two inches tall and weigh around two hundred and fourty five pounds...
This table handles my size easily and after only one month of use...I have had great results and am very encouraged.

If you suffer from low back/hip pain, this may be the table for you. I was hurting for 2 months going to massage therapy, talking to sports medicine doctors and nothing really improved. It was NOT difficult to set up and after adjusting it for me, it works wonderfully and it is easy to move around. I use it to stretch my back and spine as I have an old polio back. I use it twice a day for at least 5 minutes or more. It's refreshing.

It works, but I have a couple of valid gripes. As my review includes quality, I believe quality starts before the product leaves the factory. My inversion table arrived when promised, but I was a little annoyed to find that it did NOT come with instructions - OK, I was very annoyed. No problem, right? Wrong. I called the phone number on the box, only to be put on hold for too long - never got to speak to anyone, I just hung up. Looked online for instructions (including this website) and the link was corrupt. Finally, I noticed a little (as in font size) website marked on the box and I was able to get the instructions there.
The inversion table went together easily and quickly. When I first tried it, I noticed that the right hand grip was missing the protective cap (another futile search through the box yielded nothing) So basically, when you're pulling yourself up your grabbing onto some bare, sharp metal. I'll call the company back and (hopefully) get a replacement part in an expedient manner.
I've tried one other inversion table (Ironman) at a relative's house. I found that one to be easier to return to an upright position, but the footpadding (more important in my book) is more comfortable with the Calm inversion table.
In a nutshell, it is very good. My back feels a thousand times better (it has bothered me for YEARS). But I cannot overlook poor quality assurance - you as a consumer shouldn't either.

After receiving the product, unpacking, and then putting together, I got started. The installation was easy and the directions were to the point. I am a big guy, and with the weight limit of 250lbs. for the Calm, I exceed the weight limit atleast 1lb and maybe up to more than 50lbs. The thing is rock solid and have complete trust using it in any postion. It is heavy walled round tubing and fairly easy to move without taking upmuch space.
I would easily recommend for the price and construction of the Calm.

After research this table was the most cost efficient table that we found. It feels so good and is soothing. I recommend it to anyone who has back problems, especially lower back.

Got this for my husband who was having some back and compressed spinal disk pain due to travel via car for work. He mentioned inversion boots and dangerous door frame hook ups came to mind and I did not want him to injure himself more. He uses it 3 times a day for 3-5 min. at a time at full inversion. He just mentioned that the first time using he had a little difficulty getting his balance to get off the table but comfortable on it now. I look forward to trying it soon as I have some back pain myself.

The assy instructions were easy to follow. The heel holders are a little too narrow. If you do have a bad back and your muscles are tight, releasing the ankle/shin bar lock is difficult to do. Overall, for the money, it's great!

I had great hopes in achieving spine alignment and stress relief from the inversion table, however, this was not accomplished. I'm very disappointed in this purchase.

The table was Very easy to assemble, clear instructions, took about 30 minutes. Would like to see a video of use included. Would like to see option of inversion bar and boots for sale. I would recommend it, it is all that is necessary in order to invert!!! The ankle support is uncomfortable even though is padded well.
