The Calm Inversion Table is your basic Inversion Table with one important exception: It has a padded locking bar at the ankles! Typically found on much more expensive tables this padded locking bar effectively relieves pressure allowing you to stay comfortable longer and get the most out of your inversion table. Since you are suspended by your ankles during inversion ankle comfort is something you wont want to compromise and the Calm delivers. The Calm adjusts to any inversion angle -- even allowing you to go past a full inversion (90 degrees)-- and features three additional adjustment settings at the pivot arms to control your speed of inversion. Auto-locking pivot hinges and skid-resistant rubber feet add extra security. This table also folds flat for easy storage.

It was so easy to put together. I had it together and testing it within an hour. It took a couple tries to get it adjusted for my height but now I just lock in my feet and invert! My back LOVES this machine!

I do wear boots to keep my ankles from getting too much pressure, but it's not a problem.

I feel like I'll be one inch taller in the next week!

Very good construction, Seems built to last, half the price of other comparable products and just as good. I am very impressed. I have had back surgery and after injuring it again my doctor recommended inversion therapy to help relieve the pain. I searched and found this project but was a bit skeptical as it was so much less expensive. I can't believe how well the product if built and it really helps my back.

Easy to assemble. After getting it adjusted to my weight proportions (don't necessarily correspond to the height adjustments on the unit) I found the unit very easy to use. The padding on the back crossbar is uncomfortable, but tolerable. Overall, a great product for the price.

I bought this as a gift for my partner. He is a Nuclear Pharmacist,who's daily work has him holding "pigs",at arms length,behind a clear acrylic 'hood' while preparing nuclear pharmacutical doses. He has had constant issues with back and shoulder problems,due to the wieght of the 'pigs' which is 2-3lbs. and there are multiple doses a shift.
He had never used an inversion table,whereas I myself was an avid regular user for years before meeting him.
After 2 weeks he is now amazed at the relief this has provided! Less pain releaving drugs are being taken by him,and soon,I hope the number to be zero!

It would be great if a chain or tether of some sort came with it so I could fix the angle of tilt. It would make it so I could do sit ups etc. without the board returning to upright. I have to use ropes and they slip.

I use this almost every day. This was over-priced for the quality of the workout it provides. It does not invert all the way. It does not even come within a foot of being completely inverted. I have to use my arms to prop myself and that detracts from the benefit of the treatment.

Overall I am happy with this product. I use it two to three times daily to relieve lower back pain associated with my job as a commercial truck driver. It is difficult to use for extended periods of time due to discomfort caused by the pressure from the foot pads on the tops of my feet during full inversion. Other than that I find that this product is all that it was represented to be.

The Calm Inversion table is a great value. After reading other reviews I thought this table would suit me and I was not disappointed. The table is sturdy, easy to set up, easy to adjust to size, easy to get in and out of, has excellent balance and is quite comfortable, both the table which is made of mesh, and the foot supports (as much as is possible for a device that hangs you by the feet).

I use this once or twice a day for 10-15 minutes at a time, and it has helped to reduce the level of discomfort and pain my lower back and left leg has.

I bought the table for my sciatica pain and tight back muscles. After using it the pain is alot less in my back and my muscles have definitely loosened. When I workout, I use my other fitness equipment and end with the inversion table. It really helps me to relax and get a good stretch in. I've noticed I sleep better. I have had surgeries on my knee and it doesn't bother it at all, in fact I think it helps open up the joint and therefore help with the swelling. I work in a physical therapy office, as the office manager. I sit in a chair for 10 hours and know the importance of working out when I get home. The table has helped me to loosen up which is super important to me. Overall I feel more limber and loose, the only thing I have changed with my workout routine is adding the table. I love the fabric, the footing is very comfortable, and easy to adjust. I leave it assembled in my exercise room so cannot comment on storage. I am very pleased I decided to purchase the table and will recommend it to anyone with pain, or looking to buy one. The only thing I wish I could change is the handles. When inverted I have to sit up and lean to grab the handles to pull myself completely up. Not a big deal but may be difficult for someone with more back or neck problems.

I have only had the table a week so I am starting slow with a few minutes a couple of times a day.
I am very impressed with the comfort and quality of the table for what I paid. I would have expected to pay much more, but I lost my job and since I am only 125 lbs, I figured I didn't need a heavy duty table and I could always add cushion to my ankles but ...no need. The padding is wonderful and I am very happy with this table!

I have a lot of lower back pain from sitting in a computer chair all day. I use the inversion table about 10-15 minutes in the morning and 10-15 minutes after work. It has made a noticable diffenence in just a few weeks. My son has an expensive model from another company, and I can say the Calm inversion table does as much for me as the expensive model. This is an excellent product at a very reasonable price. It's very sturdy and simple to use. I would recommend it to anyone with compression back pain.

I had to have some help to assemble it, but finally got it done. I use it in the morning and the twice at night, when I first get home then just before I go to bed. Only problem is that sometimes it is hard to get back up without almost doing a sit up, which again sometimes, hurts my back. But all in all it is great.

I suffered with a pinched nerve/bulging disk for five months. I tried anti-inflammatory drugs, muscle relaxers, accupuncture and chiropractic treatments. All of these helped but didn't eliminate the pain. I had almost concluded I would never again be pain free. I read about inversion tables and talked to my family practitioner. He said it would help and wrote me a prescription for it but no medical suppliers I found carried it. I ordered the Calm table online and as soon as I began to use it, the pain was gone! I have lower back pain and have experienced incredible constant discomfort for years (despite doing daily lower back exercises). The first 3 times I used the table (2 minutes each time- morning and night), 80% of my pain was gone! I had the best nights sleep that I have had in years! I woke up refreshed and energized for a change. I can't say enough about this whole experience.

Definitely start at a lesser decline for only two minutes and go from there as you feel more comfortable. Always have someone else present for safety reasons.

While declined, take nice slow deep breaths and relax the muscles in your back. I stretch out before and after using the table, but that's just me.

I absolutely LOVE my inversion table!

I have had back and neck problems for years. As a Chef i am on my feet always. A few slips and falls and constantly carrying equipment and food my spine was rocked bad. For the cost of 3 chiro visits this IS THE BEST THING EVER!!! I feel taller and there is more 'stuff' in my upper body. My waist has slimmed from the streching, better than any yoga class did.
It's my own roller coaster ride, the upside down part, and I can just swing there and hold my hands up and go "weeeeeeee". The kids think I'm nuts but that's not new, and all my friends have got on it and we ALL feel this is a good thing. We all have felt better after just a few minutes on there.
It's a bit weird your first time down, but after that my husband and I are fighting over who is on it, "MINE MINE" .
I know I feel better, my neck is all streched out, my posture is easier to maintain and I've only had it a week. But I am on it now 3 or 4 times a day for a few minutes. It has changed my life, after a few minutes on it my stress is gone and I am happier because my spine is not all jacked up.
Not so great, having to tell my chiro I don't need her because she's a friend.

I have three ruptured/compressed lower back disks and was excited about using the table to decompress my back! The table is easy to put together, it's construction quality and sturdiness are impressive. I wasn't afraid the table would collapse or fall over with me. The ankle grips are well padded and comfortable hold your body weight. It's amazing how easy it is to control your rotation by simple moving your arms. The handel grips on both sides give you added safety & security in rotating. I would caution using the table in full extention if you have acid reflux or just eaten. You can get a head rush if you rotate to fast.

I'm 83 so my feet were too sensitive for the instep frame. I drilled my shoes and attached a loop of rope under the heels. The loops go on the foot-rest and the instep frame is removed. Can now hang without pain at 45 degrees.

Aside from stretching the spine, inversions bring blood to the Brain and Thyroid, and relieve gravity's constant pull on the internal organs. I will design shoulder rests so I can do longer inversions without hurting my feet and ankles. Suggestions of how to do that are welcome.

As an active duty Marine, days of hard training and multiple deployments have taken their toll. My lower back has started to tighten up consistently and this inversion board, at an incredibly affordable price, has relieved a lot of that tension from the impacts of running, carrying heavy loads, and rigorous physical training. My posture has already improved and when sitting I hardly hunch over anymore. The one thing that I have noticed about the inversion board is that it is sometimes hard to return to the upright position and it takes more effort than I thought it would.

I purchased this table because at age 35(now) I developed a Sciatic problem due to driving a Transport Truck(Car Hauler). Is it a miracle cure? NO, however I am at the moment doing 3 sets of 5mins inversions with about 1min break in between to let blood flow to feet again. When I wake up from sleep I am 90% less sore, and it is definitely worth the purchase, especially if you don't have alot of health coverage for Chiropractic or Massage or Acupuncture... I did not get the CALM table since it was out of stock however I was offered an upgraded table(looks identical) at no additional cost.... Received item within a week of ordering...
I would recommend it for back(spinal) pain...
It took 30 mins to assemble.. pretty easy.. read the instructions and look at the pics.

i injured my back in '93 & have just put up with the soreness and pain. i finally bought this table. I am SO glad I did. After the 2nd 5 minute session of complete inversion I felt and heard the decompression...what a joyous feeling! I use my table 3 times a day for 5-10 mins each time. what a difference in every day life! far less pain with much more mobility.

It is easy to setup and use. It can be taken down and stored in a reasonable amount of space. I like the relief it provides of pressure I feel in my back. It is mostly comfortable. I have found that it is not comfortable to use without shoes on. The foot padding could probably be increased to allow use without shoes.

After searching the web and reading lots of reviews I decided to purchase the Calm Inversion rable. Well worth the price, [...] easy to assemble, and very comfortable.I play a lot of golf as well as work out three times a week and I bought this table to help woth my lower back pain. It works wonders, and my back pain disappeared after about three weeks of morning/evening use of about 15 minutes each.The rotation is infinitely adjustable, so you can start out barely past horizontal and work your way down as far as you like. I was concerned about ankle confort, but I use this with tennis shoes, work shoes, socks, top siders and just bare feet. Take my word for it, they did their homework on this end and I have never felt any undut pressure or tension on my andles.Very well made, I still use it daily for stretching and meditation. There is absolutely no reason to pay any more for an inversion table.

I have a pinched sciatic nerve and lower back pain. It works well for traction in the lower back, but doesn't seem to be helping a lot with the sciatacism. Darn. I will keep using this product, though, the whole family loves using it and it is very easy to adjust. So for nothing has gone wrong with the product and I thought it was a great value for it's usefulness. If you have back pain, this product is for you. We haven't really had it long enough to see the wear and tear..hopefully it holds up to lots of use.!

This unit does exactly what it promises, stretches every part of your body. It just isn't the easiest to get there. The foam ankle anchor adjusting knob is WAY down by your ankles. And since I am using it to help my bad back, it is very hard to lean down to reach it. Fortunately, I was able to make a long handle to attach to the knob so I can now reach it. Otherwise, it does work well for it's use and would recoomend it for such.

generally i love the inversion table.but this one has the bar across the lower back that caused me and others discomfort...i had to add extra padding.also i cannot find my pivot point..i have adjusted it over and over...i live alone so i will not do it unless i have someone here with me or have my cell available and leave my doors unlocked in case i have to call 911 for help..can you help me there is a lot of pain involved when i have to keep adjusting it. so i gave it 4 stars and i'm being generous

If you are considering an inversion table, I can't see spending any more money than this. It's really all you need--it's the gravity that's doing the work, not all the other bells and whistles. I use it for just 5 to 8 min a day, and it seems to help my sciatica and just make my back feel healthier, more stretched out. The ankle supports tend to dig in to the heels a little, so I'd recommend just always wearing sneakers. Otherwise, go for it. It's a good, basic table.

It is very easy to use. An inversion table can not be replaced or substituted by another piece of excercise or theraputic equipment. It is great for stretching, and excercising.

I seem to get quite a bit of relief from low back pain. Had back surgery 10 years ago on l4-5-s1. Been having more problems lately and not wanting to go back on vicoden. This may help put that off.

Its lots of fun! It is a bit harder to use then
it appeared on the ads. I do have a breathing and
heart problem along with a bad back. I think if I
were in better health, it might be a bit easier to
use. Too much blood rushes to my head just to go straight to the upside down position, making it even harder for me to breathe. I have to do this much slower. It is like I said still fun, a little hard to get on, and my arms don't reach the handle bars, so I can't do this when I am alone. I wouldn't be able to get back up. It doesn't work with the motion of your arms!

I use this for a bulged disc and it helps to stretch and to ease the pain. I bought an inexpensive table to try out and it serves it's purpose. Easy to use and setup. A little bulky and tough to store but it didn't break the bank. I've only inverted to 45 degrees so far but it seems secure enough.

We've had the Calm Inversion Table for about a week [...]. There are 3 of us in the household with heights ranging from 5'3" to 6' and the table can be easily adjusted for each of us.The table is actually fun to use and the stretch feels really good. The padded locking bar at the ankles is very comfortable (though those of us with big feet have a little more difficulty getting them into place).All in all, it was a fantastic value and a great product.

I really love this exercise equipment. The Inversion Table is so industrial looking and strong It works so well to stretch my back and relieve the pain from my back being pinched and out of adjustment.
